About
During my Kinesiology degree at the U of S, I was heavily involved in triathlons and competed in 3 Triathlon World Events as part of Team Canada (Age Group), in addition to training with the varsity Track and Cross Country teams.
After I graduated, I moved to Spain to undertake a 1 year Masters of High Performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning. Here, I joined a local triathlon and swim team and was selected to travel across Spain to race for team Murica.
Upon returning to Canada, I took on a 200 hr unpaid internship in strength and conditioning at an athlete performance center before transitioning to a role as an exercise physiologist performing VO2 max testing, resting metabolic/ fat testing and strength training for primarily endurance runners and cyclists
As a trainer, my focus is on creating specific strength and mobility programs for runners that address the commonly missed weakness and imbalances that often lead to injury.
